ABOUT KUMO:

Founded in Chicago by three long-time Microsoft consultants, Kumo Partners builds innovative business solutions using the Power Platform, Dynamics 365, and Office 365. You will play a key role in optimizing and automating clients’ business processes, with a background in Office 365 or other cloud solutions. Your Responsibilities:

  • Manage project timelines, deliverables, and resources to ensure successful project completion using Agile methodology. 
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements and translate them into detailed project plans. 
  • Facilitate effective communication between clients, stakeholders, and technical teams, ensuring alignment and understanding of project goals. 
  • Demonstrate the business value of project management by delivering projects that meet or exceed client expectations. 
  • Work with company leadership to identify and strategize potential project opportunities, contributing to the growth and expansion of the company’s services. 
  • Mentor and support team members, providing guidance on best practices and project management techniques. 
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project charters, plans, schedules, and status reports. 
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices, continuously educating the team on the latest advancements and project management methodologies. 
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment focused on delivering high-quality solutions and achieving project success. 

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in consulting or technology environments. 
  • Proven track record of managing complex projects using Agile methodology. 
  • Strong understanding of Office 365 and other cloud solutions and their application in business processes. 
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically. 
  • Knowledge of project management software and tools, such as Microsoft Project, Jira, or Trello. 
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey project status and requirements to clients and stakeholders. 

Bonus (but Not Required)

  • Experience with Power Platform, Dynamics 365, or other Microsoft technologies. 
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification. 
  • Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and IT infrastructure. 
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
