We’re looking for a Business Development Executive, Cloud Solutions who’s experienced in B2B sales and understands the value of consultative, relationship-driven selling. You’ve worked in ecosystems like Microsoft, Salesforce, or SAP, and you’re excited by the opportunity to pair cloud innovation with client outcomes. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building pipeline, shaping opportunities, and driving measurable value—not just selling licenses.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Own full-cycle B2B sales: prospecting, pipeline development, solution selling, and closing.
  • Drive net-new business and expand current accounts across mid-market and enterprise customers.
  • Build and maintain deep relationships within the Microsoft channel (or similar partner ecosystems), aligning with field sellers and partner managers.
  • Position Kumo’s unique offerings—Power Platform accelerators, solution architecture, managed services—with clear ROI narratives.
  • Conduct strategic discovery with clients, crafting compelling proposals tied to real outcomes
  • Collaborate with technical architects and delivery leads to ensure pre-sales alignment and handoff.
  • Forecast accurately, maintain CRM hygiene, and contribute to sales process optimization.

Qualifications:

  • 3–7 years of quota-carrying AE experience, ideally in SaaS, cloud, or enterprise consulting.
  • Proven track record closing 5–6 figure deals with C-level and VP stakeholders.
  • Experience with channel-based selling—bonus points for Microsoft, but open to SAP, Salesforce, or other ecosystems.
  • Comfort selling services and complex solutions, not just product licenses.
  • Ability to run a consultative sales process and align client needs with our platform-first methodology.
  • Self-starter mentality, this role has lean support and high upside.
  • Familiarity with Power Platform, Dynamics 365, or Microsoft 365 ecosystem preferred (but not mandatory if you’re a quick study).
