Oftentimes as developers build more and more PowerApps, they keep seeing the same use cases and using the same patterns to fit those use cases. In such cases, if a developer finds themselves rebuilding the same thing over and over again it would save them time to build a reusable component to just import into each new PowerApp they build. For example, we kept rebuilding the same navigation component inside each new PowerApp we built. We found it easier to just build a custom navigation component in PowerApps, so we could reuse it over and over.

Our latest YouTube video takes a PowerApp developer step by step how to build a reusable custom navigation component in PowerApps. This navigation component essentially amounts to a menu bar on the left hand side of the PowerApp that users can use to move through the application.
