Who we serve

Deal-Driven Teams

M&A, real estate, and finance workflows drowning in documents, email, and external parties.

For principals and deal-team leads in M&A, commercial real estate, and finance: your core work is a document-heavy lifecycle with external counterparties, and it is running on Excel, email, and heroics. Kumo builds the data foundation and the external portal that give the deal lifecycle a real system - and make it AI-ready.

Who this is for

Teams whose product is the transaction: M&A advisories, commercial real-estate operators, wealth and finance groups. Heavy documents, many external parties, unforgiving deadlines - and almost always, an operating stack of Excel and email that everyone privately distrusts.

From spreadsheets to an AI-ready platform

The deal lifecycle is the perfect candidate for the foundation-first path: structure the deals and documents in Dataverse, move external collaboration into a portal, and then put AI to work on a lifecycle it can finally see.

Sound familiar?

  • Deal volume breaking Excel and email
  • External parties with no shared workspace
  • No system of record for the lifecycle

What working with Kumo looks like

The lifecycle gets a system of record

Deals, documents, parties, and stages in a governed Dataverse foundation - not seventeen spreadsheet tabs and a prayer.

External parties work in your portal

Counterparties, brokers, and clients collaborate through a secure portal instead of email attachments - access-controlled and auditable.

AI that knows your deals

Once the lifecycle lives in structured data, Copilot and agents can summarize, draft, and flag - grounded in your actual deal history.

FAQ

Questions we hear a lot

Our deal flow lives in Excel and it mostly works. Why change?

Excel works until volume, staff turnover, or a counterparty dispute finds the gap - and by then the cost is real. The move to a governed foundation usually pays for itself in fewer dropped balls, faster onboarding, and the ability to actually answer "where are we on every deal" without a fire drill.

Can external counterparties really use a portal instead of email?

Yes, when the portal is genuinely easier than the email thread it replaces - which is a design requirement, not an accident. Uploading to a secure workspace with visible status beats attachment archaeology for the counterparty too.

We are greenfield - no CRM, no platform. Is that a problem?

It is usually an advantage. Greenfield means no legacy model to fight, and the Microsoft stack covers the whole path - Dataverse foundation, Power Pages portal, Copilot on top - inside one tenant from day one.
