This Privacy Policy explains how Kumo Partners ("Kumo Partners," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit kumopartners.com (the "Site"). It doesn't cover information we collect in the course of an active client engagement, which is handled under that engagement's own agreement.

1. Information we collect

We collect information in a few ways:

• Information you give us directly — your name, work email, and message when you use the contact form; or your name, contact details, and resume/cover letter when you apply for a role through our Careers page.
• Information collected automatically — standard usage data such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring page, and timestamps, collected via cookies and similar technologies (including analytics tools like Google Analytics) as you browse the Site.

2. Cookies & analytics

We use cookies and comparable technologies to understand how the Site is used and to improve it over time — for example, which pages get read, how visitors found us, and whether a page is working as intended. This data is aggregated and doesn't identify you individually. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings; doing so may affect how parts of the Site function, but core browsing will still work.

3. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

• Respond to messages you send through the contact form;
• Evaluate and follow up on job applications;
• Understand and improve how the Site performs and is used;

We keep contact-form messages and job application materials for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose they were collected for — generally, the length of an active hiring process plus a reasonable follow-up window, or until you ask us to delete them, whichever is shorter. Aggregated analytics data may be retained longer since it doesn't identify you individually.

6. Your choices & rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to tell us not to use it for certain purposes. To make a request, email privacy@kumopartners.com — we'll respond within a reasonable time and verify your identity before acting on the request.

7. Children's privacy

The Site is intended for business audiences and isn't directed to children. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information we collect. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the effective date at the top of this page. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
